In this workshop, you'll learn the anatomy and physiology of the spine and its interactions with the hips, abdomen, diaphragm and legs with specific emphasis on therapeutic modifications. We will bring awareness to the body regarding possible imbalances and create subtle but effective strategies to re-balance and create a strong and dynamic deep core system that supports the health of the spine. Expect a mixture of learning, breath work and light physical practice!
This class is intended for everyone, including those with chronic back-related challenges. We welcome yoga educators to attend and learn how to safely address this critical topic.
